Today is Sunday. The shoot begins on Tuesday. Multi-tasking producers PJ Hammond (also directing) and Tina McCulloch (screenwriter) met at the location to go over final details and logistics – we each had a list. And to drink coffee, because, well, it is The Coffee Shop.   Barista Saab Narayan, who will be one of our extras, was on hand to answer questions and ply us with caffeine.

One of the things PJ wanted to ensure was that she had referenced the correct script page numbers in her shot list. So she checked by having Tina read the line – for example: “Bottom of page 8?” “Damn. I really wanted to touch her”.

We got through our lists, figured out the lunch menu for Tuesday, and made lists of tasks to accomplish tomorrow (Monday). And filmed two brief promo videos on PJ’s phone  (check out our Facebook page, Aloud the Short).

Then we went for dinner (with beer!) at Boo Radley’s up the street- we’ll be ordering lunch from there on Wednesday. Cannot stop looking at each other and grinning. We’re really doing this!
